I was reading through Nahum
today; and when I came across this section, I could not help but make a
connection to what God must see as He looks at America in general.
Nahum 3:1–7 “Woe to the bloody city! it is all full of lies and
robbery; the prey departeth not; The
noise of a whip, and the noise of the rattling of the wheels, and of the
pransing horses, and of the jumping chariots. The horseman lifteth up both the
bright sword and the glittering spear: and there is a multitude of slain, and a great number of carcases;
and there is none end of their corpses; they stumble upon
their corpses: Because of the multitude of the whoredoms of the wellfavoured
harlot, the mistress of witchcrafts, that selleth nations through her
whoredoms, and families through her witchcrafts. Behold, I am against thee, saith the LORD of
hosts; and I will discover thy skirts upon thy face, and I will shew the
nations thy nakedness, and the kingdoms thy shame. And I will cast abominable
filth upon thee, and make thee vile, and will set thee as a gazingstock. And it
shall come to pass, that all
they that look upon thee shall flee from thee, and say, Nineveh is laid waste:
who will bemoan her? whence shall I seek comforters for thee?”
My paraphrase: Bad things are in store for America, the
bloody nation—a nation that has killed about 50 million innocent babies through
abortion. It is a nation full of lies as
evidenced by the actions of many of our governing leaders, through its business
principles, and through its marketing ploys.
The accepted mantra is that the ends justify the means. Wealth is abundant and is ever susceptible to
robbery—by wicked individuals and even by those in government leadership who
seek to forcibly spread that wealth through policies that will defraud the
wealth of others to garner support of the masses that hope to benefit from such
robbery. Wickedness and violence destroy
many throughout the land. Such evil
abounds because America has rejected God’s existence and authority as evidenced
through our morals, music, entertainment, education system and government. She is a nation easily led by demonic
deception. She eagerly promotes her wickedness
and morals among the other nations through example and the marketing of the
products of her decadent culture.
Ultimately, she promotes a culture that disregards the right to life; seeks
to destroy the family unit of father, mother and children; promotes gender
confusion; and is attempting to blur the lines of humanity through genetic
manipulation—and the list could go on.
Behold, God is against your wickedness America. The day is coming when you will be shamed
before the nations, and I judge you so thoroughly that the nations will be
astonished that a nation once so great could fall so quickly and with such
disgrace. The nations will look and say,
“America is laid waste: who will mourn
for her? Where can anyone be found that
is willing to help her?”
I know this paints a very
morbid picture of our future, but I believe it is an accurate picture of our
future unless by some miracle a great revival breaks out across our nation in
which we repent of our wickedness and turn back to God in faith and
obedience.
There is a precious promise
revealed in Nahum for those that have placed their faith in God and accepted
the gift of salvation made possible by the willing sacrifice of His precious
Son Jesus. He will be our strength,
defense and protection throughout whatever may come until He chooses to bring
us home.

Excellent article - and a true picture of our times. thank you.
If only all the people understood......
Sharon continuing;
Genesis 6:3 promise to Himself and the two “signs” Isaiah gave Hezekiah in three separate books of the Bible as having any relevance to the 15 years that end on September 13, 2015 and to the three Shemitah, Jubilee and the “sew, reap and plant vineyards” years that count out three years later on September 9, 2018.
HEZEKIAH FULFILLS GOD PROMISE TO DAVID AN HEIR CONTINUES THE LINE OF JESSE
Also overlooked by the scholars and experts and in no way a small matter, is the fact that Hezekiah HAD NOT YET produced an heir to continue the Messianic line of the “seed of Jesse” who eventually came when Manasseh was born 5 years later in 697BC.
The prophet in Isaiah 9:6-7 using the same “zeal of the LORD of hosts” wording he used when God gave him the “sign” to give to Hezekiah in 2 Kings 19:31, said that by His zeal, He “would increase the government of the “prince of peace” who would establish an eternal throne and kingdom of David that would be without end.
Those words parallel 2 Samuel 7:10-16 and the establishment of the Messiah’s eternal kingdom who proceeds from the seed of David, remember in 2 Kings 20:6 God said, “I will add unto your days 15 years and deliver YOU and this city out of the hand of the king of Assyria; and I will defend this city for my own sake and for my servant David’s sake”.
This “seed” is referenced in Isaiah 11:1 and 11:10 as a “shoot out of the stem of Jesse and that root of Jesse that “takes root” and will stand as a banner for the people”. This is that same future “ruler of Israel” from Micah 5:2-5 who will be the “peace” that one who has given his brothers up until his God brings them, the remnant in travail and in tribulation into the wilderness from the “four corners of the earth” where he will stand and feed them in the strength and majesty of the name of his God. Isaiah 11:12 and Matthew 24:29-31
HEZEKIAH’S RETURNING YEARS ALIGN PERFECTLY WITH DANIELS 70 WEEKS
Although Daniel understood that “seventy” literal years would be accomplished in Jerusalem as written in Daniel 9:2, the text in Daniel 9:24 reads “Seventy weeks are determined” in which “six” Messianic requirements would be completed, or simply ten “weeks of seven” equaling seventy literal years.
Cont'd
Year “70” is the returning what could have been 120th Jubilee year that runs between October 12, 2016 and September 20, 2017 and fulfills the returning second year of Hezekiah, 700/699.
It is the year that is separated from the 69 years and brought into great confusion by the Scofield Bible commentary and Sir Robert Anderson’s book, ‘The Coming Prince’ of Daniel 9:24-26. What they did instead of taking it for what Daniel said it was, a literal year, they made them “69 X 7’” weeks of years totaling 483 years and separated the 70th and made it a “week of years” unto itself and pushed it 2000 years into the future as a period of seven years of tribulation of whom many believe ends in 2022!
They “jumped the gun” because Robert Anderson died 30 years before God’s appointed time of November 29, 1947 when a United Nations vote gave Israel the right to Statehood that came about on May 14, 1948, in the Hebraic year that began on 1 Tishri, or September 15, 1947 that began year one of seventy years that count out on September 20, 2017.
THE NEARNESS OF THE TIME, TIME AND DIVIDING TIME
The “first sign” representing the last three years of that “cutoff” 66th Jubilee cycle of 702BCE returns as a Shemitah year on September 14, 2015.
What makes it an urgent prophetic event is that day begins Sabbatical year 69, the final “week of seven” years of the Daniel 9:24-26 prophecy, years 63-69. It reads; “Unto the Messiah the prince shall be 7 weeks and 62 weeks; [or 69 years] and within year 69, the Messiah shall be cutoff but not for himself”
When he is “cutoff” from the nations and stands in the wilderness, it will begin the “time, time and dividing time” of Daniel 7:25, Daniel 12:7 and Revelation 12:14 the time of the Gentiles that counts out when “all these things shall be finished”.
Will it be on the ‘eve of Hanukkah’, December 6, 2015, or 24 Kislev the day the foundation stone of the Temple was laid that as promised in Haggai 2:18, or the Messiah of that “sure foundation” lain in Zion, of Isaiah 28:16 who will be cut off from the surrounding nations and will “stand in the majesty and strength of the name of his God and be the peace and feed his flock in an Eden type wilderness guarded by seven shepherds and eight principal men in the land of Israel fulfilling Micah 5:2-6.
God said to Moses about that future prophet, “And it shall come to pass, that whoever will not hearken unto my words which he shall speak in My name, I will require it of him” Deuteronomy 18:19
REPENT, the Kingdom of God and His Messiah is at hand, an Ezekiel 33:6 watching one and pray for the peace of Jerusalem
Dear Reader,
I have honestly tried to follow your logic by reading through your comments several times. I am afraid we are going to have to agree to disagree regarding the interpretation of the 70 weeks of Daniel. I concur with Anderson and believe that the reference to Messiah being cut off is a reference to the cross. Just like you—I am eager for the LORD’s return to take us home. And…just like you, I believe that His return is very near and that the call for repentance is urgent. Personally, I believe the times of the Gentiles continue through until the Lord Jesus returns as the King of kings.
