Once again the time is here
For sharing Christmas joy and cheer.
When memories often flood our minds
Filled with scenes of bygone times.
Some are tender, sweet and dear
Some make us smile, some bring tears.
One thought should rise to take control
Strengthen the heart, comfort the soul.
One thought to bring you peace and rest
To help you endure and conquer life’s tests.
God sent His Son to earth to die
Our salvation to provide.
A gift with value beyond measure
Above all others to be treasured.
That gift is free to all who believe
That Jesus is LORD and choose to receive.
So as you celebrate Christmas Day
Remember Jesus—the only way
To a future in heaven with our dear LORD
To joy and peace forevermore.
So make it a point to share the good news.
Time’s running out—His coming is soon!
