GOD'S SACRIFICE

I pray that as we enjoy this Christmas holiday that you will take the time to celebrate the reason for the season.

The love of God came down to earth

In form—a tiny babe.

To be the perfect sacrifice

On whom my sin was laid.

Never once did Jesus sin

Or yield to life’s temptations

He was the perfect Lamb of God

The price for my salvation.

Because it pleased the Father

He submitted to the cross.

Suffering in grief and pain

He paid redemption’s cost.

Giving hope to every soul

So bound in sin and shame

Forgiveness now within the reach

Of all who trust in Jesus’ name.

So Christmas is a time of joy

A time of celebration

That God in love would send His Son

To purchase our salvation!
