Although this new year is not having the start I would wish, I take great comfort in knowing that God’s plan is unfolding right on schedule. The predicted signs of the time in scripture signal that the coming of the LORD is really soon!
Until that time, I am holding on tightly to the truth of certain anchor verses in the scripture.
1John 4:4 - Greater is He that is in us than he that is in the world.
Isaiah 55:8-9 - God’s thoughts and ways are beyond our understanding.
Phil 4:13 - I can do all things in Christ, THE source of my strength.
Luke 1:37 - Nothing is impossible with God.
Isaiah 26:3 - Keeping the focus of our faith on the LORD is the source of peace.
John 10:27-30 - I am a child of God and am secure in His grasp.
Mark 9:24 - “LORD, I believe; help thou mine unbelief.” I have prayed this verse so many times!
Romans 8:28 - Because I love God, He will use for good anything that He allows to happen to me.
Romans 8:38-39 - Nothing can separate me from God’s love.
1Thess 4:16-18 - One day SOON He is coming to take us home to a future that will be well worth ANY suffering we may endure in this world.
